Hello again from Maybelle Farm.  Its Thursday Feb. 25th and we are up to our eyeballs in snow.  I have had to crawl over the snowbank to get to the barn door!  The poor sheep cannot get out of the barn and I cannot shovel anymore snow to get them out......it also looks like alot more snow is on the way!  They cancelled school for Darcy and Rowan yesterday and then did a 2 hr. delay this morning.  Darcy had been gone about 10 minutes when the school called and cancelled for today.  Thank goodness, Todd was able to get Darcy just as she was getting into Jamaica.  The traveling is terrible and I'm very glad she and Rowan are back home now.

I have talked with Darcy and we have planned a March Madness Fiber Sale for Saturday and Sunday March 20/21st, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. We will be selling raw fleeces at a discount, roving and a good surplus of the roving is from the Fiber of the Month club so you can buy different types of wool and beautiful cross fibers such as Merino/Romney   or Blueface/Cormo just to give a couple of examples.  I will also be selling everything on sale. Yarn,handmade items,needlefellting supplies and kits, dyed wool and much,much more.  Come to Maybelle Farm to stock up on your fiber fix.  It will be held upstairs over the new garage in my Fiber Studio.   We will also have coffee,tea and snacks.  You can call the farm or e-mail for more information.

I have to move the raw fleeces out before shearing this April and I just have to downsize my stash!!!!!!!  Its taking over the farm and I need to make room to start getting ready to hold classes in the new studio.  I plan to offer classes for spinning,needlefelting,wet felting,wool dyeing workshops and much more.  Watch for a schedule to come out in the spring for classes.
