Okra (Arnold's mother) is adjusting slowly to being without him. She is with Vinca because I brought them together from West Hill Woolies about 8 years ago. I also put Opal and Omega with Okra because they are this years lambs and do not butt the other sheep. It's a juggling act to put sheep together. Some get along well and others really like to fight. Thistle is very happy with Winnie whom I think was bred today and Snowflake is not in estrus yet. Custer (my white ram) has Colby, Lyra and Star in with him. This means lambing should be the last part of April. I try to plan it so shearing doesn't have to be too early.
I will be at the Bright Lights Craft Fair in Wilmington on Saturday if the weather stays O.K. I don't mind rain or snow but do not go out in freezing rain. I certainly hope the weather is decent and there is a good crowd at the craft fair. I have knitted like crazy to make some hats and needlefelted alot of new ornaments. Olivia will be with me to spend the day. Its 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. so that makes quite a long day. We are suppose to set up around 7:30 a.m.
Well that is all for now. So-long from Maybelle MaMa.
