It is going to be a very sad morning when I go to the barn tomorrow. All the sheep know I am sad and they will be very quiet. It will take me some time to adjust and change things around. Marcus was always first getting fed because he was watching for me as I went down the stairs. I have been cutting up beautiful pears for the last month for Matylda, Maisie and Marcus. I have shared a video below of them enjoying the pears just a few weeks ago. How they loved their treats. Stella did not want any pears or apples.
I will try to write a few happy things now. I am grateful that my family is well and we are all busy. It is getting close to Thanksgiving and so we will be making plans for that. I am working a few days each week at a lovely yarn shop in West Dover, VT called "Ugly Duckling Yarn Shop". It is such a nice peaceful place for me to go. There is a rainbow of color for me to enjoy and more fiber. I went with my friends Karen and Mel to the New England Fiber Festival in Springfield, MA. this last Sunday and had a great time. I have been teaching needlefelting classes and wet felting landscape classes. There is a lot of happiness at the farm even though we have had some sadness. I was able to sell my big ram Fergus who went to a farm in Maine. He is a happy boy with his new ewes.
So I will close for now. So-long from Maybelle MaMa
