I had my critters, yarn, roving etc. on display at a table in the Wardsboro Library's Red Barn and did very well yesterday. We had farm visitors in the afternoon from Canada and today I had a Beginner Needlefelting class. I'm attaching pictures of the class today. We all made bears and they came out so well. It's a very busy time here at the farm with trying to move portable fencing, move sheep and get hay for the winter. There is too much to do, not enough time and I certainly don't have enough energy! This morning I got a call from my nephew Shawn's daughter Summer who is 15. She is going to come help me at the farm. I am so excited to have farm help! I just can't keep up and I really will enjoy getting to spend time with Summer. Well life is good at Maybelle Farm. So-long from Maybelle MaMa.
Hello from Maybelle Farm on Thursday July 5th. We had a float in the Wardsboro 4th of July Parade and won Third Place! We put the float together, some on Tuesday night and the rest early Wednesday morning before the parade. The weather was pretty questionable so we didn't know if we would bother with the float. The rain came through in the middle of the night so we all hopped on David's trailer and went through the parade.
